Playing catch up: B.O.M.s 7 & 8

I am caught up now on the 1930's block-of-the-month project! Here is block 7:

You might notice the oddball square in the center of the star--had a pressing mishap with the original light pink fabric. I have really been trying to PRESS and not IRON. It is a hard habit to change! I'm working on a miniature quilt and I'm finding that starching and pressing the fabric before cutting and then PRESSING as I piece is making a very positive difference in how easily it is going together. I give Sally Collins a big thank you 'cause she really knows her stuff!!

And here is block 8:

Just lovely! Can't wait to see the finished quilt.

Oh - and in case you missed the hints when you were so busy - need you to either add your name and address to the Prolific Online Quilters database - or email it to me directly.

Please!??!?!
You'll not regret it - promise!
