A funny story

Every time I think of this, I chuckle. So, I thought I'd share this little true anecdote with you to end the week on a funny note.

A few weeks back, DH was drying off our daughter after a bath, and since she's been on a bit of a princess kick lately, DH started telling her that "princesses who live in forests have little forest animals to dry them off after they take baths." My daughter, being a very inquisitive little thing asked DH "what kind of forest animals?" (Now, ya have to picture DH, who's a big softball-playing, power tool-using, hairy chested manly man--what does a guy like this really know about princesses and such??) He tells her "oh, little forest animals like squirrels." (Between you and me, I don't think Walt Disney ever had a squirrel dry off a princess before.)

Without missing a beat, my sweet daughter turns around, looks at her Dad with her grey-green eyes and says "Wow......you are one big squirrel!"
