Wedding quilt is DONE!!

It's been a while, it's been uphill, but it's DONE!! The wedding quilt is DONE!!! Woooooo hoooooo! Took it to the LA quilter this afternoon and could not be more relieved! I have to say, although this quilt is not my "comfort zone"-type quilt, I am really happy with how it turned out:

Pardon the less-than-professional picture--I have been moving so fast over the last week or so--between sick son and DH on travel and trying to finish this, by the time it came to taking this picture I was trying not to be late for my son's kindergarten Valentine's party this afternoon....I was moving like the bionic woman. Speed photos. One cool thing, with the rare event of a little sun, the backlighting from the dining room windows from the back of the quilt was a neat picture too:

There are 1, 170 triangles in this quilt. I sure hope the bride and groom like it!

OMG! That wedding quilt is absolutely spectacular! What an amazing job. You should be very proud of yourself (and make sure there is a clause -- if they divorce, you get your damn quilt back)! xoxom
