A little video motivation

I just ordered Hinterberg's new DVD "Enjoying Your Voyager Sewing Machine." The gals on the Hinterberg Yahoo group have been raving about it--I figured maybe this will be a dose of much needed confidence and encouragement for me to get moving on this wonderful machine of mine! They have an introductory price special going on 'til May 31, so anyone else who's got a Voyager may want to jump on this!
This past weekend I took advantage of Jo Ann Fabric's big Memorial Day sale. I bought an entire package (40 yards!!!) of Warm and Natural batting. It was on sale for 50% off PLUS I had an additional 10% off coupon, so I saved quite a bit of money. It seems to me that the price of this particular batting has gone up dramatically over the last 3 or 4 years! Am I wrong in remembering that the regular price used to be in the neighborhood of US $6.99 a yard not too long ago? Now the regular price is $9.99 a yard!! I couldn't pass up this sale--after the sale and additional discount and tax, the final price came out to about $4.95/yard. Now the only trick is finding some place to store this big box! :)

What a great deal on the batting! You'll have plenty to use with your machine. Can't wait to hear how the video was.

Ohhhhhhh, I wish I would have known you were on a batting hunt. I buy through www.kmquilting.com. I can get a 30 yard bolt of 96" wide Hobbs 80/20 for $95 and then $15 for shipping. AND, I think they're in Rochester, so if you and I were smart, we'd just drive there and get it! Then again...with gas the way it is...

ANyway, I think that brings it to like $3.67 a yard with shipping.
